If you're familiar with Pioneer digital DJ systems, then you're already good friends with rekordbox. But if you’re new to this system, you're in for a treat. Pioneer’s rekordbox software is a super-handy environment that lets you prep your tracks for DJ playback on your XDJ-RX3, letting you tweak beat grids so they’re perfect, drop in cues, pre-set loops (including ones at the end so you don't run out of music), add beat countdowns, analyze keys, and all that good stuff. And you can do all of this from your computer or your mobile device. The XDJ-RX3 also supports Serato DJ Pro software.

Sizable touchscreen display provides visual precision

Once you’ve got your tunes prepped and loaded on your XDJ-RX3 digital DJ system, the 10.1-inch touchscreen display becomes the center of your world. This screen merges the convenience and reliability of self-contained hardware with the intuitive visual feedback of DJ software. It offers the kind of supercharged workflow Sweetwater DJs used to dream of. Parallel waveform readouts make beat matching precise while allowing you to keep an eye on track length, scan ahead for different parts, check the key and bpm at a glance, and browse effortlessly. And you can use the Wave Zoom function to zoom in on the waveform at its current playback position.

Loaded with cool Nexus performance features

Pioneer DJ’s XDJ-RX3 system has a ton of cool capabilities to offer. For starters, it provides you with a hit list of features derived from the Nexus series of media players. Quantize lets you trigger cues and loops precisely on beat, whereas Beat Sync locks your tracks together across multiple decks. Then there’s Slip Mode, which lets the track advance in the background when you reverse, loop, or scratch, so you’ll always dismount back in place. On top of that, the XDJ-RX3 includes a Loop Slice mode for cutting up loops and re-triggering them on the hot cue pads for on-the-fly remixing. And when you add in the amazing Sound Color FX and Beat FX, the creative possibilities are infinite.

10.1-inch touchscreen with new interface

The 10.1-inch touchscreen is the largest ever on a Pioneer DJ all-in-one system. It features a high resolution and frame rate so you’ll see everything clearly, including the smooth waveform. Plus, a fresh GUI design and a host of new features mean you’ll enjoy easier navigation for quick browsing and accurate mixing. For example, you can touch any of the stacked icons on the left side of the screen to instantly display the relevant information for each track.

Release FX: Inject new energy into your performances

By hitting the Performance Pads in Release FX mode, you can instantly change the energy of your mix, whether you want to add drama to a section of a track or create an exciting moment before transitioning to another song on the other deck. Choose from 8 effect types: Vinyl Brake (Short/Long), Backspin (Short/Long), Echo Out, Build Up, Mute, and Ducking.

Color On Jog Display: Get a visual grasp of track information

The LCD screen in the center of each jog wheel indicates the playhead position and you can choose to display artwork for a quick visual reminder of which track is loaded on the deck. The responsiveness of the jog wheel rotation has been significantly improved compared to the XDJ-RX2 and you can make the ‘weight’ of each jog feel just the way you like with the Feeling Adjust control.

More Beat FX and Sound Color FX

The XDJ-RX3 includes all the effects from the XDJ-RX2, plus an extra 6 Beat FX and 2 additional Sound Color FX. So, you can play with the full range of effects from the DJM-900NXS2: 14 Beat FX including Ping Pong, Filter, Phaser, Slip Roll, Vinyl Brake, and Helix; and 6 Sound Color FX including Space and Crush.

The XDJ-RX3 is a Hardware Unlock device, so you can use rekordbox Performance mode for free.

Serato DJ Pro

The XDJ-RX3 supports the control of Serato DJ Pro. Use the multi player to browse your Serato DJ Pro playlists plus the catalogs of linked streaming services.

Natural audio

rekordbox Link Export

Gate Cue

Experiment with your pad play using Gate Cue, which plays the music from the cue point only when you press the pad. Take your finger off the pad and the music stops instantly, and silently returns to the cue point.
