It's ready to go with rekordbox dj software (license included), and you can also play back rekordbox-analyzed tracks directly from a USB storage device for computer-free performances. And with dual USB ports to accommodate two USB drives or laptops simultaneously, the XDJ-RR Digital DJ system is ready for seamless hand offs between DJs.

Prep your tunes to perfection in rekordbox

If you're familiar with Pioneer Pro digital DJ systems, then you're already good friends with rekordbox; and if you're new to this system, you're in for a treat. Pioneer's rekordbox software is a super-handy environment that lets you prep your tracks for DJ playback on your XDJ-RR, letting you tweak beat grids so they're perfect, drop in cues, pre-set loops (including ones at the end so you don't run out of music), add beat countdowns, analyze keys, and all that good stuff. And you can do all of this from your computer or your mobile device. Once your tracks have been analyzed by rekordbox dj, you can play them directly from a USB device for computer-free performances.

7" display provides visual precision

Once you've got your tunes prepped and loaded on your XDJ-RR Digital DJ system, the 7" display becomes the center of your world. This screen merges the convenience and reliability of self-contained hardware with the intuitive visual feedback of DJ software. It offers the kind of workflow Sweetwater DJs dream of. Parallel waveform readouts make beat matching precise while allowing you to keep an eye on track length, scan ahead for different parts, check key and BPM at a glance, and browse effortlessly. And you can use the Wave Zoom function to zoom in on the waveform at its current playback position.

KEY FEATURES

Play your own way

The XDJ-RR lets you choose how you'd like to perform. You can plug in your USB drive and play tracks directly, use Link Export mode to access your entire rekordbox library via your laptop without needing to export your music to a USB drive, or, if you'd prefer, you can connect your PC/Mac with a single USB cable to harness Performance mode in rekordbox. It's all up to you.

Large colour screen

See what's happening on both players simultaneously via the 7-inch colour screen. Keep an eye on the playback status, BPM, waveform, and other information vital to performing creative, smooth sets.

Performance controls

Enhance your mixes using dedicated buttons for performance features. Remix tracks live by triggering Hot Cues in fresh sequences, chop loops on the fly with Beat Loop, use Slip Loop to re-introduce tracks in the perfect place, and bounce to the bar of your choice with Beat Jump.

Mixer with pro features

Deliver fine-tuned mixes with the help of EQs and channel faders which feature the same curves as those on our professional club mixer, the DJM-900NXS2. You can also customise your routines with the popular Beat FX - Echo, Reverb and Flanger - and dial up the texture and tension with Sound Color FX - Filter, Noise, Dub Echo and Pitch.

Performance features

Unlock rekordbox performance features by simply connecting the unit to your PC/Mac. And, if you subscribe to the Creative plan, use Cloud Library Sync for seamless library management across multiple devices, and easily make custom versions of tracks in Edit mode.
